    Locally abundant fork fern, growing terrestrially under large sword of Pteridium esculentum on the northern coast, between Waikarapupu Bay and Rakino Point, opposite Rakino Island, c. 25m absl. Some with flaccid stems 40cm long, fertile. Locally common. Single plant found in Upper Home Bay Forest (old P14) revegetation plantings by Nanda MacLaren on 31 July 2016, with fertile fronds.
    Collected as part of a botanical survey for the Motutapu Restoration Trust
