    Tall tree, spreading, open branching. Upright rectangular canopy. Ht ca 16m, DBH 51cm. Rough bark, peeling in chunks. Many very fine branchlets, hanging at ends of branches. Alt. Leaves glossy mid-green upper, paler dull underside. Star-shaped open seed pods left hanging from branchlets.
    Sloping hillside, sunny, sheltered.
