  • Field Collection Notes
    Small, widely spreading tree, trunk dividing in 2 at 0.5m, DBH 10 and 16cm. Ht ca 4m. Bark mid-brown with grey patches, younger branches greyer. Twiggy. Lvs small, stiff, alt, mid-green dull upper, paler under, coarse to touch. Twiglets hairy. Lvs very close together in two opp. ranks.
    Sunny, sheltered.
    = U. elegantissima 'Jacqueline Hillier".
