    Small, slender tree, 3.5m tall. Very glossy mid-green large ovate leaves, slightly paler below. Leaves drooping and incurled. White 8 petalled large flower, with large cream and gold anthers. Bud case grey, brown and covered in silky hairs. Pale-grey bark. Leaves - margins finely serrate. Flower open flat.
    Sloping hillside, sheltered, partial shade.
