    Small bush, 30cm high, branches tangled and wiry. Wood dk brown. Lvs mid-green upper, silver-white beneath. Flowers small, bright yellow, with 5 narrow, pointed petals opening out like a flat star. Upright yellow stamens. Lvs and petals tomentose on underside.
    Growing beneath and in shade of SW facing bank. Afternoon sun.
    Wire brush bush.
