    = P. subhirtella x P. yedoensis.
    New growth emerging from stump that has been cut back. Ht ca 4m. Outward spreading branches pale grey with brown rings and patches. Blossom white blushed with pale pink. Buds deep pink. Numerous white stamens, single tall green stigma. Blooms in pairs mostly, or 3's, hanging beneath branchlets. New foliage emerging bronze-tinged green.
    Cultivated garden situation. Partial shading from surrounding trees.
