    New Zealand, North Island, Gisborne Land District, Eastwoodhill Arboretum, H10, in terraced garden beside ramp from House Terrace

    Small tree, weeping habit. Ht ca 4m. DBH 11.8cm. Curved-trunked tree. Flattened crown. Blossom both white and pink (two pinks, one dark, one lighter). Mostly one colour on a branch. Flowers many petalled, white petals may have pink streak. Deeper pink flowers have deep pink stamens, purple calyx. Pale pink flowers, green calyx with a hint of blush at base. Flowers open nearly flat; up to 5 1/2 cm across.
    Sunny, open but sheltered position in gardens.
