    [Original det:] Photinia davidsoniae Rehd & Wils.
    Med tree, upright centre with spreading lower branches. Many branched, twiggy. DBH 43.5cm, Ht ca 9-10m. Mod dense foliage. Bark rich brown, peeling in large, thin chunks. Young branches dark brown, 3 branches at each axil. Some suckering from roots and new growth from trunks - these branches have long spikes near base and leaves shorter and rounder.
    Open sunny situation. Some shelter from South.
