    Small, coppicing 11-stemmed shrub, 1.4m tall. Stems erect, covered in pink blossom; deep pinky-red buds and new green leaves emerging. Flowers to 23mm across, 5 pink, cupped petals, deeper pink margins, fading to nearly white as older. V. little scent. Stamens white, maturing to deep pink. Emerging leaves red-tipped.
    Cultivated shrub garden, sheltered clearing.
    Bush Cherry. Dwarf Flowering Almond.
