      Small spreading tree, trunk dividing into 2 at 1m and 3 at 1.3m. DBH of main trunk 12.5cm. Ht ca 7m. Bark pale grey with lighter patches. Branchlet ends deep red-brown + hairy. Divaricating branching, twiggy. Open canopy. Lvs small, dk green glossy upper, paler green matt under with paler veins. Smooth surface. Lvs alt. Lvs on branchlets off bigger branches close together. Lvs on new growth more spaced apart. Variable leaf size.
      Green 4 irreg lobed buds in 1's or 2's on underside of leaves.
      Sunny, open situation on mod-gentle SE facing slope.
