    Locally common in the area. This specimen from a 12m? tree. The tree had two trunks growing from the base on an angle so the height is an estimate. The approximate diameter of the largest trunk would be just under a meter. Growing with Phyllocladus alpinus, kamahi, rimu, Myrsine salicina, Coprosma taylorae and Dracophyllum filifolium and Astelia aff. nervosa. E2723910 N6053303
