    Toki 2021, driftwood, pearl shell, material.

    Carved and ornamented driftwood, with a carved [nautilus] shell attached with screws to one end(screws painted red) and a carved piece of mother of pearl at the opposite end which is lashed on to driftwood with red material. Another loop of the red material is loosely attached around nautilus shell end with can act as a mount to suspend object from. Selected carved areas on the driftwood and shells have been highlighted with red paint, mostly around eyes. Midway down the piece of driftwood is the words 'ANA TO KAI"

    Written on one of the fabric pieces in black ink is "PRUTEHI LITEKYAN" (reference to an action group from Gaum dedicated to the protection of Guam's natural and cultural resources)
