      Internal evidence suggests this item was presented by Gordon S. [Stewart] Butler, of Butler's Tauranga Hotel, PO Box 37, Tauranga, in December 1931. Butler (Service No. 4/77) was a former member of the Samoan Expeditionary Force, serving with the Divisional Signalling Company, NZ Engineers.
