    Old garden, cultivation relic. Same plant as CHR439882 W.R. Sykes 125/87. Shrub c.1m, rambling habit, deciduous. Largest leaflets (terminal ones) to 5x3cm. Sepals reflexed tomentose inside, hairy outside, margins with dark red glandular hairs. Petals 1.2-1.4 x 1.1-1.2 cm, broadly obovate tending emarginate or erose, flushed on reverse. Deep pink in bud. CHR duplicate. Ex Botany Division, D.S.I.R., New Zealand.
