    hand axe, biface. The object is a stone tool with bifacial flaking and a ellipsoid cross-section. Middle Paleolithic. There is a natural void in the object and the surface is flaked. Label on the object: 'aix en offe (Aube) [Aix-en-Othe] Rouseau' refers to the location of discovery in France where similar artefacts from this period have been found.
