form; blown glass; tall and thin form made up of three shapes, the top being a small cone shape, the second a teardrop shape, and the third a cylinder that curves out into a a wide base; the body is made from a dark blue glass that appears opaque; hundred of small glass fragments in varied sizes of marine technique are applied to the exterior with different designs including checkered patterns, patchwork patterns, animal silhouette , and star shapes; handles of zanfirico technique rods are located at the bottom of the teardrop section; base has a rounded rim; on base rim etched is: NZ (C) 1998 MARQUIS; the underside exposes the hollow interior;
