    gown, christening, baby's, white cambric full length trimmed with tucks around hem and front panels to bodice and skirt. Embroidered insertion and Broderie Anglais, both machine made. Valencienne lace around neck.

    white very ornate christening gown, lawn skirt has central panel tucks alternation with vertical broderie anglaise panels hand applied - machine made (?) lower skirt has 6 small horizontal tucks and one large tuck that goes right the way around the skirt. Two broderie anglaise lace insertions down wither side of front panel. Bodice has V shaped panel with fine horizontal tucks, hand applied broderie anglais horizontal panels with broderie frills on either side of panels. 1 pearl button on back. cap sleeves and machine made Valencian lace around neck.

    Quite rust stained.
