    a khaki `hussif', cotton of rectangular shape, one end of which is turned up to form a pouch, the sides turned in to form additional pockets and with a panel of additional pockets seqn to centre. The upper end a blunt triangular shape with attched black cotton tapes for securing.

    markings: Stamped in faded black to inner upper of pouch: "Auckland Women's Patriotic League"
