  • Description

    pendant, disc. Cast only. Notches on the edges around curvature. Upper end above the perforations is squared off and does not have notching. There are 3 perforations, conical drilled from both sides. The edges are damaged on both sides below the perforations. On one broad surface there are three recessed panels separated by slightly raised flat ridges edged with notches. The upper edges of the two upper panels are not well defined and there are no notches.

    Similarly the curved edge of the lower panel does not have notching. The original of this pendant is in Whakatane Museum.
