    Toki. Adze. doneTool used for multiple purposes including carving wooden objects. Carved from basalt toka (stone). Dark grey/brown in colour. Quadrangular in secton (trapezoid). Long and thin in shape. Cutting edge is polished but chipped. Bevel is highly polished continues up the blade towards the poll end. Front of blade is highly polished, longer in comparison to the shorter butt. Blade ends in prominent shoulder, reduced to butt. Butt shows evidence of pecking.

    Polished overall surface treatment.
