Large circular disc carved from rakau (wood). Thick at the base. Rises to a central point on one side. Bottom, flat side of the tupe is plain with no surface treatment other than some sanding to make smooth. Raised side has carved surface treatment, repeated triangular motifs carved around the circumference and at the centre.
