Skirt of lace bark. This is a waist garment made from lau fou (lace bark). The hip section features fakafiti (twill weave) that is bordered with a separate piece of baste. This piece has been repeatedly folded and tacked down. In the same fibre material, twelve fakamanaia (embellishments) have been tacked down between wide pieces of baste upon the hip section. The remaining selvedge has been left loose to form the bottom half of the titi (skirt).
