Pipe

human history
  • Kupu whakaahua

Large pipe with metal base. Base is silver in colour with decorative floral patterns engraved, underneath is enclosed with metal, brass in colour with faint writing visible in the reflection of the tarnish [interaction with other printed surface?]. Pipe has two hoses joining to black stopper at one end held with white string.

One hose is long and black [rubber] with white and green synthetic [string] wound around entire length, in places wound with wire and occasional accent stripes of purple string, ending in a wooden mouthpiece. The other hose is a shorter pipe, ending with turned wooden attachments and a metal collar, appears to be designed to attach to another part.
