    Moccasins

    Made from suede, wool thread, flannel , wool textile, glass beads, fur. The boots sit around the lower calf. the moccasins have soft soles made from brown suede, the upper foot and calf section of the moccasin is made from a dense navy coloured wool, and applied dense red coloured wool squares applied to the ankle. Thin bands of long grey fur is applied mid way up the boot exterior. There is bead work around calf and upper foot section. Beads on the upper feet are of a bright red flower with leaves and a stem and 2 small pink buds, there is bead work on the calf is of large pink flowers on the front with leaves and vines and red flower buds. The bead work on the back of the calf is of a blue flower and a grey flower with vines and leaves. The exterior side of each boot has 2 wool thread in green, pink and purple braided into one thread with with a wool tassel at the ends in multicolour. The interior is a lined with a flannel fabric of blue and white stripes with smaller yellow and red stripes inside the white stripes.

    one boot has a paper swing tag in the shape of a maple leaf that reads: FRABRIQUE PAR LES INDIANS DU CANADA, on the reverse reads: MY BY CANADIAN INDIANS
