Francis Bert Haycock served as a Warrant Officer with the 22nd Infantry Battalion 2NZEF and with the RNZAF. His WW2 service was based in England, Greece, and Crete. While on Crete he became prisoner of war but managed to escape. Post-WW2 Bert Haycock served in Cyprus with the RNZAF.
