    Hoe. Knife. This is a carved hoe made from one piece of wood. The wood is a dark brown colour with a shiny varnished surface. The hoe has a hooked blade and a carved figure for a handle. The handle shows a head with prominent facial features. Carved on top of the head is a manutara (white-tipped tern). This hoe was created as a gift.
