  • Kupu whakaahua

Hei. Shell necklace. Consisting of small spiral shaped pūpū bored and threaded onto nylon wire. The pūpū have been arranged to form a pattern consisting of a row of small white coloured spiral shaped pūpū with light brown spots, followed by a brown coloured spiral shaped shell. The single nylon wire thread changes to become three lines, each threaded with white and brown spotted, spiral shaped pūpū.

At the end of these lines, are followed by another three lines, each threaded with brown and white spotted spiral shaped pūpū. This set is followed by another three lines of white coloured spiral shaped pūpū with light brown spots, followed by a brown coloured spiral shaped shell. This pattern is executed across by sides of the shell necklace.
