    Whale teeth neck ornament (English)

    i Taube Bati ni Tovuto. Whale tooth necklace. Consisting of twenty-five teeth, each tooth a dirty yellow/brown in colour, curved in shape with a pointed tip end and with a drilled hole bored near the base. The teeth are strung onto a braided cord woven from plant fibre, possibly vau (hibiscus fibre), with knotted ends.
