  • Kupu whakaahua

    Unu (Spear head). Carved from wood - possibly toa (ironwood). Long spear shape. Carved into sharp point at each end. There is one large crack at the handle end. The handle is plain with carved cubes at either end while the spear section is roughly carved into six diamond shapes as it reaches its pointed apex. It is a natural brown colour overall.
