  • Kupu whakaahua

    In the form of a pig-like head. Hollow. The mouthpiece (on the top of the head or neck) is missing. One ear has been broken. The windway is on the back of the head. The snout is narrow with a disc on either side of the end which has a break on the underside and may indicate a missing attachment. Striations on the intact ear. The whole whistle has been painted with white pigment, with some reddish areas on the front and yellow around the snout.
