    figurine head, ceramic. Wide-band headdress; a panel edged along the top and bottom by a roll with four discs or buttons spaced evenly. The left end is damaged. The lower edge of the panel is visible below the roll. Plumes placed behind the panel, indicated by nine grooves at the back, have been broken off. Earspools broken off. The face is delicately modelled in fine clay. The eyes are slit style, long and narrow with eyelids and arched brows.

    The narrow-bridged nose and mouth are carefully finished, lower lip is slightly damaged, the chin differentiated with a hole pierced in the left side. The headdress has been painted with an orange-red pigment. The face may have a reddish slip on the surface. Broken at the neck. Mexico
