    lamp, oil. The object is a ovoid oil lamp with a incorporated nozzle. There is a medium sized filling hole and a large wick hole with a slightly flared lip. The discus is slightly elongated and joins through to the nozzle. The lamp has a vertical loop handle. There is a faint Maltese cross in relief design on the discus bordered by a pattern of spots. The fabric is a terracotta with small crazed lines.
