Bevel is at a slight incline, concaved towards the cutting edge. Front of blade is flat and highly polished. Slightly raised shoulder above the blade, reduced to butt. Butt is shorter than blade, is highly polished. Poll is highly polished. Overall surface treatment of the adze is highly polished.

Toki. Adze. Multipurpose tool used for carving wood and other materials. Carved from a basalt stone. Brown in colour. Triangular cross-section. Sharp cutting edge. Bevel is polished, and ground at a gradual incline, slightly concave towards cutting edge. Flat blade. Raised shoulder present at top of blade reduces to butt. Butt and poll are roughly flaked.
