    Toki. Adze. Tool used for multiple purposes including carving wooden objects. Carved from toka (stone). Light brown in colour on surface but possibly darker colour on inside. Quadrangular cross-section. Dull cutting edge. Bevel surface is concave, not steep. Front of blade is long, shows evidence of flaking and pecking. Raised shoulder at top of the blade, reduces to butt. Butt is short. Poll is completely unpolished. Overall surface treatment shows evidence of pecking.

    Polished in some areas.
