    Ei. Necklace. Personal adornment consisting of brown and black speckled spiral shaped pupu (shells), and white coloured spiral shaped pupu. Both types of pupu are Dotted dove shell, Euplica scripta. The pupu are bored, and threaded with nylon taura tautai (fishing line). Single brown pupu are threaded on the taura tautai, with three bundles of white pupu in the center of ei. A metal screw clasp is attached at the ends.
