It is made from toa (ironwood) and is carved from a large block, the handle is cylindrical in shape and the paddle itself is polished down to a thin depth. There are signs of wear and tear on this paki, a few holes and cracks along the face of the paki. Paki are made only for the me'etu'upaki and are made in one size only.
