  • Description

    Te uninga te ito. Headrest. This is a porous wooden headrest. It is made from ito (driftwood). It is rectangular in form and shape. It is light in weight. The surface area is made up of a series of fractures along the grainline. Parts of the surface appear worn in a mid brown tone. The non worn areas are dark brown in colour. It has been cut from the mid section of a trunk and carved into its rectangular form. Knicks feature at both ends of the headrest.
