    Kapu akari. Coconut shell container. High polish. Formed from a whole coconut shell. A circular hole has been cut out at the end containing the eyes of the coconut with possibly a coconut or pandanus leaf stopper. A smaller hole has been cut out in-between the eyes of the coconut. Two cords woven out in iri taki rua (2-ply braids) have been knotted in the centre and plugged into the small hole. Dark brown in colour.
