    Tapa covered photograph album compiled by Captain Robert Charles Smith. The album covers the period from 1915-1918 anwhen Smith was the Captain of the Maori Contingent in Avondale in 1914, with the Samoan Relief Force between 1915-1916 and at Papawai Camp in 1916. The album also contains snapshots of Smith’s family in Bedford, England including wife Mary, daughter Marian Eyre Smith and sons Henry Franklin Smith and John Warner Smith.
