    Rare, only a few plants seen just at this site. Growing with Microlaena polynoda amongst a dry headland scrub and pohutakawa coastal forest on sandstone. Locally common spp. include Sophora sp., lacebark, Coprosma macrocarpa and karaka. Associated spp. include Poa anceps, Peperomia urvilleana, Crepis capillaris, Oplismenus hirtellus, Rhabdothamnus solandri, Doodia australis, Myrsine australis, Rytidosperma spp., Polystichum neozelandicum , Gahnia lacera and Leucopogon fasciculatus
