Kupu whakaahua: flute, double vase " Silbador whistling pots", ceramic. Vessel composed of two round bottomed, long necked, gourd shaped flasks of greyish clay covered in a red slip. The flasks are joined by a hollow connecting tube between their bellies, and a flat ribbon strap between the two necks. Both flasks are slightly flattened with the wide sides orientated parallel. One flask has front and back panels of the body of the vessel decorated with three segments of raised bumps . This flask has a tapering narrow spout, longer that the height of the body. The second flask has similar strips of raised bump decorations, but in place of a spout it is topped with a seated figure. The figure faces away from the other flask with the face depicted frontally in low relief. The handle linking the two flasks joins to the back of the head. A headdress or elaborate hairstyle is depicted which rises to points on each side. The figure holds a basket or container, with a stemmed top, on their lap. this is decorated with geometric indentations. Fingers and toes are also depicted. Peru
