Dr Rebecca Phillipps is a Professional Teaching Fellow in the Anthropology Department at the University of Auckland. She manages the fieldwork and laboratory work of the Great Mercury project.

Rebecca is a geographic information systems and database specialist. She completed her PhD on human-environmental interaction in the Neolithic. She has carried out fieldwork in Egypt, as well as here in New Zealand.
