This Autumn, get outside and get curious!
The Museum is filled with examples of native birds, insects and plants, and with taonga created from native wood.
Through the Nature Quest trail, families can explore the living, natural world surrounding the Museum in the Domain.
Listen out for birdsong, discover who is hiding in the leaf litter, who is making pretty patterns on tree trunks, who is climbing waterfalls and much more.
Complete the trail and email us a wildlife photo from your journey, for a chance to win an awesome nature-lover's prize pack from the Museum shop.
You can pick up a trail from the Museum Grand Foyer or download one here.
The Nature trail map is best printed on A3. Just fold it in half and you're ready to go.
Have fun explorers!
