We’re pleased to partner again with the Auckland Botanical Society to cohost the 2022 Lucy Cranwell Lecture. This year's lecture on Urban Ecology will be held by Dr Colin Meurk from Manaaki Whenua Landcare Research.
Dr Colin Meurk, of Landcare Research in Canterbury, is an urban ecologist/botanist who co-developed the landscape model that drives many catchment-scale restoration plans by New Zealand cities and districts. He has been hands-on shaping the ecological restoration of Christchurch after the earthquakes, through work on the Travis Wetland, one of the largest urban wetlands in New Zealand.
This event is organised by the Auckland Museum Institute.
Unlimited free entry to all paid exhibitions, discounted event tickets and exclusive AMI Member only events.
