The last couple of years have been difficult for many New Zealanders and New Zealand institutions alike. Auckland Museum had to close its doors for the first time since 1918 during 2020 and 2021 lockdowns. Our international exhibition programme was impacted by COVID-19 as we were unable to host these exhibitions and have had to cancel many of our events.
Thank you for your continued support and being a Museum Member. Any contribution in addition to your membership fee will enable the development and preservation of collections, the delivery of new exhibitions, important research, and exciting educational programmes. It will also ensure the continued restoration of the historic Museum building, a touchstone for remembrance and home to sacred taonga.
Thank you again.
