This summer become a navigator!
Way before GPS and map aps on your phone, explorers took a leap into the unknown to navigate our vast planet. Tupaia, the Tahitian navigator and high priest, helped Captain Cook onboard HMB Endeavour find his way around the Society Islands in the Pacific.
Now, you are the navigator! Follow our clues to discover what skills, tools and knowledge were used in the pre-digital age, while you explore the Museum galleries.
Stay the course and you’ll go into the draw to win a special prize pack from the Museum shop.
Download the map to take part in Quest for the Navigators here or collect from the information desks in the Grand Foyer of the Museum.
