Venue hire at Auckland Museum
Time never stands still at Auckland Museum. There are always exciting exhibitions to see, stunning new spaces to explore and fabulous flavours to savour at our new restaurant. So if it’s been a while since you last visited your Museum, we’d love to show you around.
Join your guide for a gentle 45-minute stroll through our new galleries and discover how Auckland’s most iconic building has changed with the times. Our guides love to answer your questions as they show you around our transformed galleries, tell the stories behind the incredible artworks in Te Ao Mārama South Atrium and explain how the Museum is telling the stories of our city, past, present and future. The tour is fully accessible, with an easy pace and plenty of rest stops along the way.
If you may think you’ve seen the Museum before, plenty of surprises await as you become reacquainted with an old friend that has stood on the volcanic cone of Pukekawa, watching over Auckland since 1929.
