  • My grandfather, my role model my friend. I love you so much and think about you a lot. You never talked about the war. I felt sorry that you could not express how you felt. I can only imagine but respected your wishes not to ask.
    You came home to your family and I got to have your love, kindness , smiles and giggles.
    My hero.
