  • As told by my mother Mavis Watts (Hogarth) about her brother. My uncle Sam went to Japan when she was 16 and 18 when he came home, he didn't recognize her as she had grown up so much. He came home with memorabilia of which I still have some that my Mum has given me, a Japanese Tea set, a silk hankerchief, and a wooden pencil
