  • Entered Korea on the 31 December 1950, served in the New Zealand Base Headquarters, Dental Section while in Korea - the dental hygiene of many New Zealanders at that time was poor so there was quite a lot of work to do. Emplaned Iwakuni on 7th May 1952 for return to New Zealand, and then returned to Regular Force served 1949-1960. Chamberlain, p. 440 AWMM
